Opened on summer Solstice of 1993 Strange Brew has been supplying the Buffalo region with numerous occult supplies. The store boasts the largest herbal and essential oil selection in the Western New York region. In addition to herbs and oils you can choose from a wide variety of books- both herbal and occult related, tarot decks, athames, swords and other knives, jewelry, incenses and holders, chalices, crystal balls and pendulums, rune stones and statues, plus a variety of other unusual curious goods and religious tools. Their friendly staff is there to help you get the tools for your own transformation- whether it's an ounce of catnip for your familiar or an altar kit in it's own carrying case. Tattooing is also available by appointment by one of WNY's top artists. Chimene has both an art degree and over a decade of tattooing experience- with artwork around the world. Specialties include (but are not limited to) fine line, protraits, celtic, oriental, nature and fantasy as well as cover-ups (where your nasty old tattoo gets replaced by a nice new one artistically rendered).
